New material from one of our favorite soul artists ever -- a laidback set of mellow soul tunes that's pure Leon Ware all the way through! The style is almost a contemporary update of Ware's classic Musical Massage for Motown in the 70s -- a slinky, sensuous set of tracks, delivered in a space that's far from cliches that can sometimes hold back this sort of music -- very firmly in the hands of one of its true originators, still going strong after all these years! The professional placement of the record is a nice contrast to some of Leon's more home-made efforts of recent years -- and although things are tight, they're never commercially slick -- just smooth, mellow, and flowing with that amazing Ware-styled sound.
