The previous post of Ron Carter's album 'Anything Goes' brought us some nice links to a few hot CTI/KUDU albums in the corresponding reply field, courtesy of Big Papi. And apparently it inspired more folks, 'cause my fellow collector DJ Jay Dart, who also gave us the second Brick album a few weeks ago, decided to share his copy of David Matthews with us. Shoogie Wanna Boogie is pretty disco-ish, but I have to admit that it's still a very funky album. Some of the breaks you'll hear were sampled by various hiphop acts, but again you can't miss that typical sound that every KUDU/CTI release seems to have.
