Chris Hinze is the Dutch Jeremy Steig. Period. In the seventies, Chris made a few incredibly hard to find albums that are very popular amongst the beat diggers. Every album from his seventies era contains a few super funky tracks that will keep the crowd dancing and Japanese DJs pay a fortune to obtain a copy. Chris recorded the songs for this album at both Electric Lady Studios in New York and Dureco Sound Studios in The Netherlands and gathered a brilliant list of session musicians like Gary Brown, Richard Tee, the Brecker Bros, Mtume, Sammy Figueroa and many many more. Even the String Orchestra from London is featured. The first two tracks, 'Bamboo Music' and 'Venga' are really funky; after that the album continues on the CTI-style fusion tip.
