And after my own rip of Al Hirt, it was time for Smooth again to deliver some hot stuff. Today we are going to enjoy this fantastic Etta James album. "Changes" is, as always, almost impossible to find and it's a shame that this gem hasn't seen a reissue yet. Etta James aka 'Miss Peaches' has a, to put it mildly, shaken past, endlessly struggling with dope and the interested ones should read her biography 'Rage To Survive', in which Etta describes her life in a very open and sometimes pretty squalid fashion.
