Here's another one! This is the soundtrack to Melvin Van Peebles' film Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song from 1971. The score was written by Van Peebles himself and performed by the ,then-unknown group, Earth, Wind & Fire. Alongside Shaft, this is the album that started the whole blaxploitation boom. A young Earth, Find & Fire (friends of one of the film's production crew) provide a great, driving psychedelic theme interspersed with dialog. I'm sure you'll find a number of strong funky soul vocal tracks.
