One of the last great Curtis Mayfield albums for Curtom -- often overlooked, but essential in any collection of his work! The sound is still very much in the classic Curtom mode, with less of the uptempo and disco groovers that were showing up on some of the other records from the time -- and more of the sweetly soulful styles that Curtis was also working on as his 70s career progressed.
