Black Joe Lewis

I’m really excited to introduce to you Austin’s own Black Joe Lewis. If you love dirty blues with a lot of soul, then you’ll love what Black Joe Lewis and his band, the Honey Bears, have to offer. Joe is a twenty-something blues man from Round Rock, TX who has been blessed with an amazing set of pipes that are very reminiscent of a Sam Cooke or a James Brown. Black Joe Lewis and the Honey Bears create music that is raw, loud, tough, dirty, soulful, bluesy, funky and bunch of other adjectives that I can’t think of at the moment. Just listen to “Bitch, I Love You” and you’ll see what I’m talking about. I highly recommend picking up a copy of his self-titled album or Black Joe Lewis and The Honey Bears EP.
